I know this is a work in progress, I know this has been requested for quite a while, My personal opinion is that it was released too soon. I have used the IOS version in our business and personal lives for several years and absolutely couldn't be without it.
I have tried several and a couple come close but still just don'e meet up for my needs. I was a participant in the beta version of the Mac and was extremely surprised whrn they said they were releaing it as is. I use the hyperlinks constantly in the IOS version and they are not available at this time in the Mac. In the beta version I could key text into the Mac version, I find that is missing all together or I haven't been able to locate it. This makes the Mac version worthless to me at this time. I will definitely hang in there because I know what it is capable of, unfortunately, it just isn't there yet but I know it will get there. Mac is totally different than IOS is structure so I get it.
I would just hate to see you lose some people because they get the Mac and think that's all there is.Media players are ten-a-penny, and the freebie market is dominated by the excellent VLC Media Player, so at first glance SPlayer might be on to a hiding for nothing trying to muscle in on its territory.
